On April 8, ViewSonic officially introduced the M1 Max, a portable projector that combines Google TV streaming, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, and power bank functionality—delivering a true all-in-one entertainment experience.
Weighing just 2.1 lbs (0.96 kg) and measuring 7.2 × 5.6 × 2.4 inches (182 × 141 × 62 mm), the M1 Max features a 360-degree swivel stand that makes it easy to project onto walls or ceilings at any angle.
Equipped with a high-capacity 12,000mAh battery, the projector provides up to 2 hours of continuous playback, and can also double as a portable charger for smartphones and other USB-C devices. A tilted power-on design and ultra-quiet 26dB fan add to the convenience and comfort of use.
Running on the Google TV platform, the M1 Max supports both HDMI 1.4 and USB-C inputs, ensuring compatibility with gaming consoles, smartphones, and other media devices. It offers Full HD 1080p resolution, projects images from 40 to 100 inches (1.0–2.5 meters), and boasts 500 lumens of brightness with a 120,000:1 contrast ratio.
The projector also comes with dual 3W Harman Kardon speakers for high-quality audio. Users can connect external devices via the 3.5mm audio jack or Bluetooth. With automatic keystone correction and a 165ms latency, the M1 Max is well-suited for everyday entertainment, from movie nights to casual gaming.
