Overview
The two projectors are both new projectors released in 2022. Philips Screeneo U5 is slightly better in terms of brightness and connectivity, while AWOL VISION LTV-2500 is better in colors and storage.

Appearance
The two projectors have many things in common in terms of shapes and design. They both have a deep groove at the top panel, which is typical of UST projectors on the market.
Looking from the top panel of the Philips Screeneo U5 projector, we can see the shining Philips Screeneo logo, and the panel is matt but smooth. There are marks of DLP and 4K HDR. The side panels are perforated for heat dissipation and all interfaces are located at the back panel.
AWOL VISION LTV-2500 has a similar shape to Philips Screeneo U5, but it has two lines for decorations surrounding the frame. There are many vents on the side panel for heat dissipation. What makes it different from the Philips Screeneo U5 projector is that AWOL VISION LTV-2500 has 1 USB port on the side panel.
As for dimension and weight, AWOL VISION LTV-2500 measures 59.9×35.3 x14.5cm and weighs 12kg, bigger and heavier than the Philips Screeneo U5 projector.
Light Source
Philips Screeneo U5 adopts a mono laser light source while AWOL VISION LTV-2500 adopts a triple laser as the light source. Compared with a single laser, the triple laser can greatly improve the color vibrance and reduce the noise and rainbow effects.
As for lamp life, the two projectors have the same lamp life of 25,000 hours.

As for HDR, the two projectors are compatible with HDR 10 but AWOL VISION LTV-2500 doesn’t support Dolby Vision for the time being.
In terms of throw ratio, Philips Screeneo U5 has a throw ratio of 0.21:1, shorter than the AWOL VISION projector.

System
Most smart projectors have a built-in system so that users can watch movies or live shows just like a smart TV.
Philips Screeneo U5 is powered by the Android TV system, which has many google-related apps, such as YouTube, Google Play, and Google Assistant. In addition, it has a built-in Chromecast and makes screen mirroring or cast convenient.
AWOL VISION LTV-2500 is powered by Android 9.0 instead of Android TV. In other words, users can’t use Google services on this projector. Luckily, the projector has a built-in Fire TV stick, and you can enjoy mainstream streaming apps conveniently, for example, Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Disney+, and Peacock.
As for memory, Philips Screeneo U5 has 2+32G while AWOL VISION LTV-2500 has 3G+128G. A larger ram and memory mean smooth operation and big offline file storage.
Connectivity
Philips Screeneo U5 and AWOL VISION LTV-2500 perform well in terms of wireless connection and wired connections. The two projectors both support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and screen mirroring.
