Wireless projection
The requirement for wireless screen projection is that the display device must support wireless functions, and the wireless network must be stable enough.
- Turn on the projector, find the wireless projection screen, and turn on the “WiFi display” function. Though different projectors have different settings, there is no differences between basic operation.
- Turn on the mobile WIFI, search the WiFi signal sent by the TV / projector, find and click the WiFi to establish a connection. After the connection is successfully established, the picture on the mobile phone can be directly projected onto the TV / projector.
Wireless projection is more convenient, but there are many limited conditions. The mobile phone and projector must be in the same WiFi environment, and the device must support the wireless projection function before they can be used. Moreover, there may be picture delay in wireless screen projection. If you only use it for office and movies, it’s OK. If you play games, it’s estimated to be a disaster!
At the same time, if the TV and projector itself do not support the wireless screen projection function, it can only be projected through a wired connection.
Screen projection through Type-C to HDMI line
It has gradually become a trend for mobile phones to adopt the latest Type-C interface. Now mobile phones are basically Type-C interfaces. Therefore, it is a convenient and fast method to convert Type-C to HDMI and project the screen directly with one line.
The mobile phone and projector can be different pictures. Put the mobile phone picture on the projector to watch movies and share PPT. The mobile phone can still be used to browse other web pages without affecting each other. It’s the same way as computer projection.
The advantage of this wired screen projection is that it supports HD screen projection, the screen will not get stuck or delayed, and playing games will not be affected. This method is really relatively simple. You only need to bring a data line when you travel, and you can cast the screen at any time.
Through USB to HDMI / VGA converter / cable
Compared with the above wired projection of Type-C to HDMI line, the advantage of this converter / line projection is that it has less requirements for mobile phone devices and can better support a variety of different models of mobile phones.
1. Connect the HDMI cable to the TV, projector and other display devices.
2. Then connect the charging port with USB interface and plug it in.
3. Finally, connect to the USB interface and the mobile phone through the mobile phone data cable.
4. Connection complete.
After connecting the device, open the mobile phone settings, enter “developer options”, and turn on “USB debugging”.Some mobile phone systems have different settings. Some mobile phones may prompt to install EZCast software. After installation, click the data line icon in the upper right corner to automatically prompt for connection. At this point, turn on the mobile phone “USB debugging” and then turn on the “USB network sharing” function.
After a while, the mobile phone will automatically project the screen and project the mobile phone picture onto the TV and projector.
