Epson has recently introduced three new laser projectors: the EF-16R, the EF-16G, and EF-17N. These new models, now available online, utilize Epson’s 3LCD laser display technology. The EF-16 models are positioned as vibrant, smart laser projectors, while the EF-17 is designed as a panoramic cloud platform smart laser projector.

According to the official product details, the EF-16 and EF-17 models share the same optical specifications. Both use next-generation micro-laser processing technology, offering excellent color accuracy without the issues of speckling or rainbow artifacts. These projectors feature a brightness of 1000 ISO lumens, support 1080P resolution, and offer a high dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. Additionally, they are equipped with scene-adaptive Gamma adjustment, a 0.62-inch chip, and 2GB of RAM combined with 64GB of storage.

The EF-16 models come with a 5W2 large cavity stereo sound system, while the EF-17 is upgraded to a 6W2 system and includes a 150° tiltable integrated platform for enhanced flexibility in projection angles.

All three models are designed with HDMI and USB ports on the back, allowing for easy connection to external devices and expanding their usability in various settings. These projectors also feature an automatic image adjustment system, supporting auto-focus, automatic keystone correction, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and auto-screen alignment. The systems run on the Aurora TV OS, integrating Tencent Video’s online resources, and are equipped with AI smart voice control and wireless screen mirroring capabilities.

One of the most innovative features of these new Epson projectors is their ability to function as an aroma diffuser. Depending on the projector’s color, Epson provides corresponding fragrance accessories, allowing users to enjoy a scented environment while watching movies, utilizing the device’s heat vents to disperse the fragrance.

These features make the Epson EF-16R, EF-16G, and EF-17N not only powerful projectors but also versatile devices that enhance the overall viewing experience in unique ways.
