XGIMI RS Pro 2, HORIZON Pro, and NEW Z8X are three popular projectors of XGIMI.
They have many things in common. They are all home projectors with LED as the light source. Their image screen size is the same. All of them support MEMC and HDR 10.
What are the differences between XGIMI RS Pro 2, HORIZON Pro, and NEW Z8X?
Among the three projectors, XGIMI RS Pro 2 and XGIMI Horizon Pro have 4K resolution and 2,200 ANSI lumens while XGIMI NEW Z8X has a 1080P resolution and 1,200 ANSI lumens.
That’s to say, XGIMI RS Pro 2 and XGIMI Horizon Pro is better in terms of image quality and brightness. In terms of market orientation, XGIMI Horizon Pro is oriented to the international market while the other two projectors are available in China market.
For the system, XGIMI Horizon Pro is powered by Android TV. XGIMI RS Pro 2 projector and XGIMI NEW Z8 projector are powered by the XGIMI INUI system.
For connectivity, XGIMI Horizon Pro has Bluetooth 5.0 while XGIMI Horizon Pro has Bluetooth 4.2. XGIMI NEW Z8X has only 1 HDMI interface while the XGIMI Horizon Pro and XGIMI RS Pro 2 have two HDMI interfaces.
On the whole, XGIMI HORIZON Pro has the best overall performance among the three projectors. However, compared with its new competitor Dangbei Mars Pro 4K laser projector, XGIMI HORIZON Pro is still not competitive enough. Dangbei Mars Pro has similar pricing to XGIMI Horizon Pro, but the projector adopts a laser as the light source and features 3,200 ANSI lumens, which is much more cost-effective and competitive than XGIMI Horizon Pro.
