Most of the projectors offer multiple placement, rear projection, forward projector, table or ceilling mounting. Is it the same with UST projectos? can I mount a ultra short throw projector on a ceiling?
To know this, we have to figure out what is UST projector firstly. It is the variety that is able to give a large screen from only a short distance away. We will meet three kind of projectors namely standard throw, short-throw, and ultra-short-throw.
When a projector designed to place extremly near to the wall or screen, it’s kind of throw the ceiling mounting out of the window. It’s not necessary to go for ceiling mounting, and guess what, the most of the UST projectors don’t even have the proper hardware for you to ceiling mount them.
Some UST models may have a mounting hole on their case, but they won’t offer the image fliping option in their system menu. With that said, even if you manage to ceiling mount the UST projector, you won’t get the correct picture.
