The AWOL 4K TriChroma Laser Projector doesn’t run Android TV like many all-in-one projectors. Instead it runs Android 9.0 and bundles the excellent Fire TV Stick 4K Max dongle into the package. The Amazon stick can then be tucked into a specially designed nook on the back of the projector containing an HDMI jack for the stick input and USB to power it.
Streaming Stick Pocket Setup Tip
In the patented TV stick pocket design in the AWOL 4K TriChroma laser’s rear, there is one designated HDMI 1 and additional USB power supply ports inside the pocket, you can hide the TV stick inside to stay tidy and there is no need for an extra TV stick AC adapter.
